Nya must confront his rage and her own choices as a parent in order to heal wounds that the world has told them they deserve.

Starting with just a few nonsensical prompts, students from all across Princeton’s campus set out to write, rehearse, and perform an entirely new work of theater in just 24 hours!

Writers start writing on Friday night at 8 PM. Directors, actors, and designers prepare the next day for a performance at 8 PM on Saturday night.

Student Playwrights Festival

Shakespeare Festival

April 13, ALL DAY

After being exiled to the Forest of Arden, After being banished to the Forest of Arden, royals Celia and Rosalind disguise themselves and encounter a cast of frustrated lovers. When Rosalind’s lover Orlando arrives in the forest, Rosalind must resolve the tangled web of unrequited love and help the royal families of Arden bury the hatchet in the process.

Intime will be presenting an abbreviated, one-hour version of this classic comedy outdoors for our annual Shakespeare Festival. Come for a quick jaunt through the Forest of Arden following this comedic love story!

Plus, join us for a full day’s festivities of Shakespeare! Including a workshop, trivia, and movie night of Romeo + Juliet (1996 dir. Baz Lurhmann).

 

Spring Cultural Festival x HUA
