Production and Audition Opportunities

Join the cast, pit, or intimacy direct for Pippin!

Performances May 23-26 (Princeton Reunions)

If you have interest in acting in a musical this spring, we are looking for a few members to join the ensemble of Pippin! If you are an alto especially, please reach out - we would love to have you in our production!

If you have questions or are interested in joining as part of the cast or intimacy director, reach out to director Solomon Bergquist (solomonb@princeton.edu)

Or, if you would like to participate in the Pippin pit as a violinist or trumpet player, housing and food will be provided during Reunions. If you have any interest in joining the pit, please contact Music Director Giao Vu Dinh (tgdinh@princeton.edu)

Pippin follows the son of Charlemagne as he wrestles with his calling in life and his royal lineage. In a thrilling adventure which blurs the line between reality and fantasy, Pippin journeys between the battlefield, the countryside, and the circus as he searches for his ‘corner of the sky.’

Proposing Shows

Every year, Theatre Intime offers students the unique opportunity to propose, direct, rehearse, and perform in our intimate, two-hundred seat performance space. The proposals process, in which students propose shows to direct as part of our season in the next academic year, is one of the most important components of what we do here, and we encourage anybody who is interested to think about proposing a show.

Applications for Intime’s next mainstage season open each spring. If you’re interested in learning more about the proposal process, you can view information from previous years’ proposals here.
