Directions

Theatre Intime is located in the Hamilton Murray Theater on Princeton University's campus.

FROM THE NORTH/EAST

From the New Jersey Turnpike heading south, take Exit 9 (New Brunswick) and follow signs for Trenton (Route 18 north, then Route 1 south). For first-timers, navigating to Route 1 south from this exit can be difficult. Take the first right after the toll booths, up the ramp and onto to 18 north. Immediately, shift to lane second from left and, less than half a mile from entry point, exit left (you'll be heading over a Route 1 overpass). Stay in right lane the exit to Route 1 south is on your right just beyond the overpass. For directions to campus and parking from Route 1, see below.

FROM THE SOUTH/WEST

From Interstate 95 heading north from DC/Philadelphia, cross Scudder Falls Bridge into New Jersey (Interstate 95 becomes Interstate 295 several miles into NJ), and exit at Route 1 North (exit 67). For directions to campus and parking from Route 1, see below.

FROM I-95/206 NORTH

Another option from I-95 North is Route 206 North. Following Route 206 North, travel through Lawrenceville to Princeton. Where Route 206 meets Route 27, head right onto Nassau Street, the town's main street. If you are coming from southern New Jersey, we recommend that you take I-295 North (instead of the NJ Turnpike), exiting at Route 1 North.

FROM ROUTE 1 (NORTH OR SOUTH)

Exit at Washington Road (Route 571). If traveling on Route 1 North, make a left onto Washington Road; if traveling on Route 1 South, make a right onto Washington Road. Continue on Washington Road over a bridge, through one light, up a hill, and through two more lights. The next light is the intersection of Washington Road and Nassau St. (Route 27).

BY FOOT

If you have entered through the main gates of Princeton University off of Nassau Street, follow the pedestrian paths past Nassau Hall. At the first road you hit take a left. Murray-Dodge Hall in which Hamilton Murray-Theater is a part will be on your right. If you are already in the Princeton University campus, simply ask anyone for walking directions to the Princeton University Chapel. If you are standing at the main entrance to the Princeton University Chapel the Hamilton Murray-Theater will be diagonally on your left.
