A shipwreck orchestrated by an exiled duke strands his enemies on an enchanted island. One of Shakespeare’s last plays, The Tempest is a story told in three parts: a tragedy of loss, a drunken farce, and a hopeful romance, all interwoven to create a funny, moving tale of isolation and betrayal, reunion and redemption.
